I established my butchers back in March 1996. At the beginning it was just me, my father in law and 1 other member of staff. My son Christopher left school in 2000 and came to work with me in the shop, Joined then by his sister Katie, who left school in 2006 and also came to work with me in the shop.
Now in 2016 my shop trade has gone from strength to strength. I now have 9 employees all together. I, Tim Potter run the business along with my wife Pam who does the office/accounts.
Chris Potter is now manufacturing manager and he is responsible for making numerous award winning sausages and pasties. Katie is Deli manager and she runs the sales of all the cooked meats and helps with all the day to day running of the shop.
Dan is my Manager and has worked for me since he left school back in 1997. We put our success in the shop to having a good family run business selling locally produced meat. Fantastic customer service, selling quality meat at realistic prices. ‘A truly traditional butcher with a modern twist!’
